Harrison Taylor

October 1 - November 13, 2016

In his new exhibition of work, Harrison continues to study the idea of himself as the ‘non-artist’, that is, how Nature and Her forces are the ultimate artist. He ultimately owes the shapes, colours, and beauty in his art to this source. Starting with basic raw materials, Harrison lets these forces, this ‘divine intervention’, work its magic. The resulting art resists definition - the possible interpretations are infinite, rich in exploratory potential, and ever-changing as, of course, Nature is Herself.  Every person’s interpretation depends on their own memories and experiences, but the organic quality of the work is somehow familiar to all of us.
